Description
Vintage Cheongsam Dress in what appears to be a Silk or Rayon Crepe. The colors are vivid in deep blue, purple, green and black. This is an interesting and beautifully made crepe fabric. There is contrasting green silk piping outlining all of the refined edges of this traditional fitted wiggle dress. The dress is completely lined in sheer satin, including sleeve lining. There are many hand sewn details that can be seen all over this garment. There is a metal side zipper and a series of hand sewn snaps as closures for that perfect fitted look.
This garment is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION…No flaws to note… It appears unworn.. It’s perfect!
This dress is from the estate of an ambassador’s wife from Hong Kong. I purchased many of these dresses.. most were never worn and placed in storage in 2000. I would guess that this one is from the 1960’s.
THe fabric appears to be a SILK CREPE with burnt-out velvet details
This garment has no size label. I would say that this is a WOMEN’S SIZE MEDIUM with a 28 inch waist
