Description
Vintage 1900-1920 round sunglasses with the original smokey green glass lenses.. These thin wire rimmed frames are silver tone, made as sunglasses during the period, not as optical frames. The stems are very thin & flexible and wrap around the ears. Because the wire is so thin and bendable, they will stretch to fit many sizes.
These frames have a tighter profile to the face when worn.. which was typical for the period.
These original antique frames are in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. .. with some minors scratches & surface imperfections to the smokey lenses.
On the inside of the bridge is the maker’s mark: WILLSON
The hinges are in excellent working order, and the frames are not warped or crooked. They are very wearable.
The width of the frames are narrow by today’s standards, but larger than most from this period.
