Description
Vintage 1940’S Fedora in a supreme quality brown fur felt that is very soft and moldable . The crown is wrapped with a grosgrain ribbon band that matches the color of the felt.. The brim is also edged with the same grosgrain ribbon. There is a leather sweatband attached with a satin liner.
On the leather sweatband is printed:

This Fedora is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION, with a bit of color variations in the felt due to being worn.. nothing crazy.
The leather sweatband is in excellent condition, very soft and pliable. not dry at all, and very well attached.
The brim is edged with a sewn 3/8th inch grosgrain ribbon.. a cool detail you don’t see in new fedoras. The satin lining looks good with no real issues.
The little paper size tag is gone, however inside the sweatband it is stamped a 7-1/4.(see last image) along with another paper tag that says:

Stack: approximately 4-1/2 inches tall in the front and 4 inches in the back.

Measurements from front to back inside the sweatband: 8-1/8th inches
From side to side inside the sweatband: 6-1/2 inches
