Description
1950’s Wool trousers that are cut like pleated sailor pants. These are high waisted with slash pockets and a sailor button closure in front with cool colored buttons. These trousers are tailored down to a rather pegged leg with a cuff.
These are in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION.. with a few snags & small imperfections in the tomato red wool.. nothing crazy.
There is no maker or size label attached to these trousers.
by the measurements I would say this is a WOMEN’S SIZE MEDIUM with a 28 Inch Waist
To be certain of the size, check measurements below:
**Measurements laying flat:
High waisted measurement: 28 inches
INSEAM: 30-1/2 inches ( from inside the crotch seam to end of the cuff )
OUTSEAM: 42-1/2 inches (from the top of the waistband to the end of the cuff)
RISE: 14 inches (high waisted)
Hip area: 22 inches across = 44 inches (mannequin hip area is smaller.. like 38 inches)
Measurements across the cuff: 6 inches across = 12- inches around
