1950’s Early 60’s Iridescent Blue Shirt – JAMAICA Deluxe Sportshirts Label

$225.00

Rayon & Acetate Fabric – Size Large

Description

1950’s early 60’s shirt in a very cool iridescent blue fabric with tiny aqua flecks in the weave. There is a bit of a shine to the fabric as well. The blue color tends to change depending on the light & angle you’re viewing the fabric. (for reference, the blue color of this shirt is somewhat darker than some images posted.)
This shirt has a patch pocket and unusual brown buttons.
There is no fabric content label.
I would say this fabric is an ACETATE & RAYON blend.
The Label is really cool in multi colored threads… & a palm tree!
it Reads:
JAMAICA
Deluxe Sportshirts
from HABAND PATTERSON
made in the U.S.A.

SIZE LARGE ….. 16 16-1/2 neck

This shirt is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION… with one thing to point out.. The sleeve length is a bit short at 22-1/2 inches.. (standard length is 24 inches)..
so this would be better on a guy who is shorter in height..with arms that do not need longer sleeves.

***To be certain of the size, check measurements below:
Measurements: ( lying flat)
From the top of the shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 18-3/4 inches
Chest taken from under the armpit to armpit: 24 inches = 48 inches
Length: from the back of collar seam to bottom of garment: 27-1/2 inches
Sleeve:
