1940’S Long Swing Coat in a wool gabardine. This is jet black gabardine. Classic and clean lined, this is an incredible example of the high style fashions created in the 1940’S.
This jacket has firm shoulder pads, which was a signature look of the period, and beautiful natural shell buttons with prong set rhinestones in the center. There are 2 waist pockets that are simply detailed. The dagger lapels are long and pointy.. The coat is lined throughout with a black crepe fabric, and it looks perfect.
The style of this jacket is reminiscent of 1940’s Old Hollywood Glamour.

This garment is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION… with no issues to mention. The wool gabardine is jet black without any snag holes or surface flaws.

There is no size label in this garment, which is typical of the period.
