1940’s Gaucho Shirt in a light weight rayon fabric with long lapels, a loop collar, patch pocket, cool bakelite style buttons, french seams and a cotton knit waistband.
These gouchos were cropped rather short, as that was the style during the period.
On the back of the shirt is a full color screen printed image of a SAILFISH jumping out of the ocean waves with seagulls in flight.
This shirt is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION…with 2 very minor flaws to note.. there is a small spot that’s really light on the bottom of the button placket. This is hard to see, as it looks like a small light shadow.. The other thing is a small spot on the side of the double seam of the shirt. (see image with arrows) neither are a big deal.. very minor flaws.
