Beautifully detailed, 1930’s sheer lace dress. This has a fitted bodice with a full length lace skirt that flares out at the hemline. There is a metal side zipper that makes it easier to get in and out of this dress.
This is a very sexy, glamorous, Old Hollywood Style Gown..
*This garment does not come with a slip. It could be worn with a teddie, slip, or a body stocking.
These period dresses are delicate, and should be worn with care.
This is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION.. with only a few repaired snags on the back around the armpit level. With a slip or teddie, this would not be seen. (see last image with arrows)
There is no label, or size in dress, which is typical of this period..
I would say by the measurements that this dress is a WOMEN’S SIZE MEDIUM .. with a 30 inch waist. Probably best if you were a bit smaller as thse dresses should not be snug on the body.. They are best when fitted loose.
To be certain of the size, check the measurements below for a good fit:
Laying flat:
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 16-1/2 inches
Bust taken under the arm pit to arm pit: 17-1/2 inches = 35 inches
Waist area: 15 inches across.. which is a 30 inch waist (however this should fit you loose)
Length from the shoulder to the waist: 17-1/2 inches
Length from the waist the hemline: 45 inches
Total length from the top of the shoulders to the hem: 62-1/2 inches
