Rare… 1930’s-40’s Double Breasted Linen Suit.. in a natural creamy white linen.
The double breasted jacket is tailored for a slim fitted profile.. This jacket has peak lapels with mother of pearl buttons, a ventless back, one breast pocket and 2 low patch pockets. There is one interior breast pocket as well. This is a fine quality medium weight natural linen fabric that looks sharp on this vintage suit.
The trousers have a nice medium weight drape with a flat front panel, side seam pockets and a concealed watch pocket. There is a button fly and cotton pocket liners that are in great condition.. The back has 2 welt pockets, one with a button.

The fabric feels just like the PALM BEACH Cloth, and is the same quality weight.. but must have been Foreman & Clark’s brand, linen cloth.
This suit is washable, with instructions just like the Palm Beach Suits from the same period.
This suit is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION.. with only very minor imperfections.. It’s in incredible condition considering it is almost 100 years old!
There is no size label in this suit.
By the measurements and fit I would say this is a 38 REGULAR with a 31 inch waist
